The relamping project aims to reduce electricity consumption by switching to LED lighting. This important step means high-quality lighting with maximum energy efficiency and savings. LED bulbs have a longer life span than conventional bulbs and consume much less energy.

Another energy-efficiency project is being developed for the refrigeration unit of the San Vitale Baganza production site. A programmable logic controller (PLC) – a specialised computer designed for managing industrial processes – will make it possible to reduce the amount of energy consumed by installing a central unit to optimise refrigeration.
