Environment well being

Photovoltaic Systems

Electricity? Clean and renewable.

The photovoltaic systems will allow the Group to autonomously cover at least 11% of the total energy needs.

Objectives of the project

Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all

Energy is central to almost all of the world's most important challenges and opportunities. Whether it is for work, security, climate change, food production or in response to rising incomes, access to energy is essential. Sustainable energy is an opportunity – it transforms life, the economy and the planet. That is why we are committed to using an ever increasing proportion of renewable energy.

Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts

Climate change is the most important global challenge we face. Emissions are generated everywhere and affect everyone. We want to use the right solutions to become a cleaner and higher performing manufacturer, in an ongoing process of improvement. This is why we are implementing all measures that can help reduce our emissions as a top priority.

The well-being of the environment means being aware that our future depends on the need to take prompt and concrete measures. For this reason, the Parmacotto Group's sustainable approach is based on improvement measures to preserve the planet and its resources, with a view to reducing emissions and environmental impact.

Among the various concrete projects, the construction of two photovoltaic plants represents two fundamental elements within the Parmacotto Group’s path for the well-being of the environment. A concrete example of how it is possible to produce clean and sustainable energy and reduce CO2 emissions, responsible for much of the air pollution. The construction of the two photovoltaic plants represents an opportunity for the transition to a more sustainable energy system, capable of generating renewable energy from sunlight and producing clean energy that does not pollute and does not cause long-term damage to the surrounding environment. The first photovoltaic plant is built at the Marano plant (deadline by 2023). The second photovoltaic plant is built at the San Vitale Baganza plant (deadline by 2023).
